Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium potatoes (about 1 lb.), peeled and diced (2 1/2 c.)
1 c. water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (11 oz.) can kernel corn, drained
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can creamed corn
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
chili powder
Preparation

Bring potatoes, water and onion to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes, stirring once or twice, until potatoes are tender.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Simmer, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes for flavor to develop.
You may add crumbled bacon, ham bits or seafood.
