Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    6 chicken bouillon cubes
    8 oz. fine egg noodles
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped broccoli
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    6 c. milk
    1 lb. sharp cheese
    pepper to taste
    6 c. water
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, heat oil.
    Add onions and saute for 3 minutes.
    Add water and bouillon cubes.
    Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally until cubes dissolve.
    Gradually add noodles and salt so that bouillon mixture continues to boil.
    Cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes.
    Stir in broccoli and garlic powder.
    Cook. Add milk and cheese.
    Cook until cheese melts.
    Makes 12 servings.
