Chicken Curry Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 large clove garlic, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
    2 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. coriander or cumin
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Coat chicken with flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown in butter. Add onion, parsley and garlic.
    Cook until onion is soft.
    Add tomatoes, curry and remaining spices.
    Cover.
    Simmer about 45 minutes.
    Add raisins; simmer 10 minutes longer.
    Serve over cooked rice.
