Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white corn meal
1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
3/4 c. buttermilk

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Fry in shortening to cover until golden brown.
