Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion
    1 cube butter
    6 cans cream of potato soup
    3 cans New England clam chowder
    2 qt. half and half
    2 cans minced clams
Preparation
    Saute chopped onion in cube of butter.
    Combine all ingredients in roasting pan.
    Cook in 200\u00b0 oven for 4 hours.
    Stir often.
    Makes 5 quarts.
    Good to freeze.
