Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
7 unbeaten egg yolks
Preparation

Mix boiling water and cocoa and cool.
Combine flour, sugar, soda, salt, vegetable oil and unbeaten egg yolks.
Beat until fluffy and add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
Beat 7 egg whites and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar.
Fold into mixture.
Bake in tube pan at 320\u00b0 for 55 minutes, then at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
