"One Knuckle" Rice Or Perfect Rice Every Time - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. rice
    3 c. water or enough water so when you stick forefinger in water and touch rice the water comes to first knuckle
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Put rice in pan; add water to level previously mentioned.
    Add salt and butter.
    Bring to boil.
    Cover and turn to low.
    Leave covered for 20 minutes.
    Perfect rice every time.
