Texas Punch Bowl Cake(Yields 22 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. fresh strawberries, sliced
    5 bananas, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 box yellow cake mix (2 layer)
    1 (12 oz.) carton whipped topping
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can coconut
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to the directions.
    Slice strawberries and bananas.
    Prepare instant pudding as directed on package.
    Layer in punch bowl as follows:
    put half of strawberries in bowl and a layer of cake.
    Punch holes in layer of cake.
    Add half the bananas and half the pudding.
    Put layer of cake.
    Add all the pineapple and juice, half the strawberries, half the bananas and the balance of pudding.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Top with whipped topping, coconut and pecans.
