Quick Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 cans sliced beets
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/4 tsp. pickling spices
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain beets well; set aside.
    Boil remaining ingredients 2 minutes.
    Add beets and boil 1 more minute.
    Good served hot or cold.
    Keep stored in refrigerator.
