Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. molasses
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Cream the Crisco and add sugar gradually while creaming.
Add the beaten eggs, then the dry ingredients alternating with the molasses and boiling water.
Mix thoroughly and pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
