Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 2 heads dill
1 clove garlic
1 to 2 pods hot pepper
1/8 tsp. alum
1 grape leaf
cucumbers, washed
1 qt. vinegar
3 qt. water
1/2 to 1 c. cooking salt
Preparation

Bring to rolling boil and pour over filled jars; seal.
If you like, you can give the jars a hot bath.
Sometimes it will make the jars seal better.
