Artichokes In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large artichokes
    1/4 c. olive oil
    3/4 c. Chardonnay white wine
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
Preparation
    Prepare artichokes by cutting off the tips of the leaves and stems.
    Spread open and remove inner small leaves and thistles. Place side by side, upright, in a small saucepan; keep upright while cooking.
