Jello Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can or fresh fruit
    1 small box jello
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 pie shell
Preparation
    Blend water, sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thick and clear. Add jello.
    Let cool.
    Pour over strained fruit (if in can) in pie shell.
    Add Cool Whip, if desired.
