Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. corn meal
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. sweet milk
3/4 c. water
1 egg

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Add onion, milk, water and egg.
Roll in balls; cook in deep fat at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
