Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 can creamed corn
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, combine first 6 ingredients.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Add to dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
    Pour in a 10-inch pan or an iron skillet that has been greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
