Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 stick margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. cooked pumpkin (can or fresh)
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cream together the margarine, sugar, pumpkin and shortening. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop dough by teaspoonful onto well-greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen. Can be iced with Cream Cheese Frosting recipe.
