Sour Cream Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 large can crushed pineapple
1/3 c. cornstarch
3/4 to 1 c. powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. sour cream
Preparation

Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
Bake in layers or sheet cake.
In saucepan, add pineapple, cornstarch and sugar.
Cook until thickens.
Add lemon juice, margarine and vanilla.
Allow filling to cool.
Add pint of sour cream.
After cake is cool, spread filling between layers and on top of cake.
Use all the filling.
Refrigerate after one day.
