Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. green peppers
    2 pods of garlic, crushed
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 lb. can diced tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 bay leaves
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper (or red pepper)
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan.
    Saute onions, peppers, garlic, mushrooms and celery.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 35 to 45 minutes.
    Add chicken after 20 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
