German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    dash of pepper
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 sliced hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
    Cook potatoes 25 minutes in salted water.
    Drain.
    Peel and slice potatoes.
    In a large skillet, fry bacon crisp.
    Drain and crumble.
    Reserve 1/4 cup drippings.
    Cook onion in reserved drippings until tender.
    Blend in flour, sugar, salt, celery seed and pepper.
    Add water and vinegar.
    Cook and stir until thickened. Stir in bacon and potatoes.
    Cook about 5 minutes.
    Add hard-boiled eggs and toss.
    Makes 7 servings.
