Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 oz.) pkg. noodles
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. grated cheese
    2 c. diced cooked chicken
    1 c. celery
    1/4 c. diced green pepper
    1/4 c. diced pimento
    1 c. slivered blanched almonds
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling salted water.
    Drain.
    Mix soup, milk and salt and heat, stirring constantly.
    Add
    cheese, stir until melted.
    Add
    remaining
    ingredients,
    except
    1/2
    cup almonds and the crumbs.
    Mix with noodles, put
    in\tbuttered
    2 quart casserole, top with crumbs and
    remaining almonds.\tBake, uncovered, in hot 400\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
