Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, nuts and salt.
    Shape dough by rounded teaspoonful into balls.
    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Roll ball in mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Makes approximately 6 dozen.
