Merv'S Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. sausage (hot or mild)
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 small cans mushrooms, drained
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes, diced
    1 block Mexican Velveeta (mild)
Preparation
    Brown first 4 ingredients in a saute pan.
    Add next 3 ingredients into a crock-pot.
    (Cut Velveeta into chunks to melt easier.)
    Drain meat mixture after browning and add to crock-pot mixture.
    Let simmer until cheese is melted.
