6 eggs
1 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/2 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. milk
2 c. grated fresh coconut or flaked canned coconut
Preparation

Separate eggs, placing whites in a large bowl and yolks in another large bowl.
Let egg whites warm to room temperature, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 300\u00b0 and grease a 10-inch tube pan.
