Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box German chocolate cake mix
1 (14 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 1/2 sticks butter
Preparation

Mix cake as directed. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
While cake is baking, melt in a double boiler the caramels with milk and butter.
(It is better to have this already prepared.)
When cake is done, pour caramel mixture over cake.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and 1/2 of the nuts over the cake and pour rest of the batter over this and sprinkle rest of nuts on top.
Bake another 20 minutes.
