Christmas Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, drain and juice reserved
    2 c. fresh cranberries
    2 oranges, sectioned and diced
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon gelatin
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and add to juice water to make 1 1/2 cups. Combine with cranberries in saucepan and cook until cranberries stop popping.
    Add pineapple tidbits, diced orange sections and sugar.
    Cook 10 minutes longer.
    Pour hot mixture over dry gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved.
    Add pecans and pour into glass Pyrex dish.
    Chill until set.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
