Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. (2 c.) butter
6 eggs
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1 qt. chopped nuts
2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large apple, chopped

Preparation

You can mix nuts and raisins, nuts and coconut or use nuts alone or raisins alone.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, 2 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour, a little at a time, and mix well.
Add vanilla, nuts and apple.
