Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. diced green pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar and oil in saucepan; mix well.
    Place over medium heat until heated.
    Cool.
    Drain and rinse sauerkraut in cold water; squeeze dry.
    Combine with vegetables; mix well. Pour dressing over it and refrigerate.
