Egg Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. sausage
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    8 slices white bread, crusts removed
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
    8 eggs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    salt and pepper
    10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 soup can milk
Preparation
    Cook sausage and ground beef with onion until meat is brown and onion tender.
    Drain.
    Butter bottom and sides of 9 x 13 pan.
    Line the bottom with 8 slices of bread.
    Layer meat and cheese mixture, beginning with meat, ending with cheese, until all are used up.
    In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over layers in baking dish.
    Cover; refrigerate overnight.
