Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    28 saltine crackers, crushed fine
    1 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients together in a kettle and boil on medium heat for exactly 3 minutes.
    Add the remaining ingredients and pour into a buttered pan (9 x 12-inch) and let cool.
