Sweet And Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. shredded red cabbage
1 tsp. salt
4 slices bacon
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 small sliced onion
Preparation

Cook cabbage in 2 cups salted water, covered, for 8 minutes. Drain.
Fry four slices bacon until crisp; drain and crumble, reserving grease.
Add brown sugar and flour to grease; blend.
Add water, vinegar, salt, pepper and onion.
Cook until mixture thickens.
Add bacon and cabbage; heat thoroughly.
