Wild Rice And Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. long grain/wild rice
    1/4 c. oleo
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of black pepper
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken
    1/3 c. diced pimento
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Cook rice according to package directions.
    Melt oleo in large saucepan. Add onion and saute over low heat until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually add half and half and chicken broth. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir in chicken, pimento, parsley, almonds and cooked rice.
    Pour into greased 2-quart casserole. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
