Vickie'S Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. self-rising flour
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans
3 small apples, diced

Preparation

Mix flour, sugar and oil, then add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla.
Mix thoroughly by hand.
Batter will be thick.
Add apples.
Cook 1 hour at 350\u00b0 in a sheet cake pan.
Glaze with powdered sugar and water, if desired.
