Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    1 medium onion
    2 large cans tomato sauce
    2 small cans tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    salt to taste
    a little pepper
Preparation
    Brown hamburger; drain excess fat, if any.
    Chop onion and add to hamburger.
    Cook over medium heat until onion is done.
    Add tomato sauce and tomato paste.
    Mix together; add chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer on low heat for several hours.
    Stir occasionally.
    You may add 2 cans of kidney beans the last hour, if desired.
