Almond Joy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    14 oz. bag coconut
    1 stick butter or margarine
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips (I use milk chocolate)
    1 1/2 c. Pet milk
    24 large marshmallows
    1 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Mix cake as per directions on package.
    Divide batter into two 9 x 13-inch pans (greased and floured).
    I use an 11 x 16-inch pan.
    Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    While cake is baking, bring to boil 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar.
    Remove from heat and add marshmallows.
    Stir until melted.
    Add coconut.
    Pour over hot cake.
    Heat to rapid boil 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup milk and butter.
    Remove from heat.
    Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
    Pour over hot cake.
    Cover with almonds.
    I usually mix 1 cup chopped almonds into the chocolate mix.
    Can toast almonds also.
