Creamy Salad Dressing(For Potato Salad) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 egg
    1 c. milk and cream, mixed
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    paprika to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place sugar, vinegar and water in saucepan and bring to boil. Combine egg, milk-cream mixture, mustard, cornstarch and salt. Add to hot mixture; cook 5 minutes or until thickened.
    Cool and use for potato salad.
