Bing Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vanilla wafers
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    juice of 2 lemons
    1 pt. Cool Whip
    1 can pitted dark sweet cherries or Bing cherries, drained
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Line large pie plate with whole vanilla wafers.
    Stir Eagle Brand milk and lemon juice in mixing bowl until thickened.
    Add Cool Whip.
    Add cherries which have been drained of all liquid. Fold in chopped nuts.
    Pour into pie plate lined with wafers. Chill in refrigerator at least 2 to 3 hours before serving or overnight.
    Cool Whip holds up better and longer than whipping cream.
