Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
heaped Tbsp. butter
rounded Tbsp. flour
2 or 3 egg yolks
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. cooked raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add flour and mix well.
Add well-beaten egg yolks and mix thoroughly.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bake in unbaked crust rather slowly like a custard pie.
A little flour dusted over crust will help to prevent its soaking.
