Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. margarine
3 c. cooked, sliced beets
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch. Gradually add water and vinegar. Cook gently until thick and clear (10 to 15 minutes). Stir in margarine and salt. Add beets; reheat and serve.
