Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nut meat

Preparation

Mix in order given and shape in a small roll.
Wrap in wax paper and put in icebox overnight until firm.
Cut in small slices and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
