Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. thinly sliced cucumbers (15 cukes)
6 medium onions, sliced
1 green pepper, cut in strips
1 sweet red pepper, cut in strips
3 large cloves garlic
1/3 c. salt
3 c. white vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Mix in a large stock pot.
Add cukes and bring to a boil. Seal in hot jars.
(No need to process due to high vinegar content.)
