Foolproof Flaky Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. unsifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 large egg
Preparation

Put first 3 ingredients in large bowl and mix with fork.
Add shortening and mix with fork until mixture is crumbly.
In small bowl beat with fork the water and egg.
Combine the two mixtures until all are moistened.
Divide dough into 5 portions.
Wrap and chill for at least 1/2 hour.
Unused portions store well in freezer.
