Oatmeal Crisps - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 c. nuts
1 small bag chocolate chips (large is good, too)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat well.
Sift together flour, salt and soda.
Add to creamed mixture.
Stir in rolled oats, nuts and chips.
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
