Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chopped lettuce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
    1 lb. bacon
    2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. green onion
    1/4 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Cook bacon and crumble in bits.
    Place 3 cups lettuce on bottom of a covered bowl.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
    Layer in order peas, bacon, onion, crumbled eggs and Swiss cheese.
    Add last 3 cups lettuce on top.
    Spread 1 cup mayonnaise on top of lettuce to seal edges.
    Cover tightly and chill for 24 hours.
    When ready to serve, sprinkle with paprika and toss.
