Asparagus With Sunshine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus or 2 pkg. frozen, cooked and drained, or 2 cans (15 oz.), heated and drained
    1/4 c. Sauterne or other dry white wine
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Preparation
    If using fresh asparagus, cook lower stalk pieces, uncovered, in 1-inch boiling salted water, 5 to 7 minutes.
    Add tips; cover and cook 5 to 8 minutes longer.
    Drain.
