Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sliced, peeled carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 c. herb flavored bread stuffing
    1/3 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots in salted water.
    Meanwhile, cook onion in 3 tablespoons butter until soft.
    Stir in soup, salt, pepper, cheese and carrots.
    Place in greased 2-quart casserole.
    Toss bread stuffing, mixed with 1/2 cup melted butter and spoon over carrots. Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) until thoroughly heated, about 20 minutes.
