Anisplatzchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. anise seed
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs in mixture until fluffy.
    Add sugar beating continuously for 20 minutes.
    Add dry ingredients, beat another 3 minutes.
    Add anise seed.
    Drop onto well-greased and floured cookie sheet and form a round cookie by swirling dough with spoon. Let stand to dry 8 hours or overnight.
    Bake in 325\u00b0 oven about 15 minutes.
    Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
