Brown Sugar Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs (room temperature)
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. dark rum (optional)
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    sweetened whipped cream (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and flour 12 cup Bundt pan. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
