Curried Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. medium size shrimp
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. ground ginger
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    3 Tbsp. minced onion
    2 tsp. curry powder
Preparation
    About 35 minutes before serving, shell and devein shrimp.
    In small bowl, combine shrimp, salt, cornstarch, ginger, pepper and sugar.
    In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat in hot salad oil, cook onion until tender, but not brown.
    Stir in curry powder. Cook 1 minute.
    Turn heat to high and add shrimp mixture.
    Cook just until shrimp turn pink and are tender.
    Serve with cocktail picks.
    Makes 8 appetizer servings.
    Each serving has about 120 calories.
