Carrot Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bag carrots
    4 strips regular or turkey bacon
    1 medium onion
    1/3 c. celery, cut fine
    3 medium cloves garlic
    2 green onions
    2 tsp. parsley
    1 beaten egg or substitute
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Note:
    If using turkey bacon, you will need 1 tablespoon canola or olive oil.
