Molasses Crinkles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
granulated sugar
Preparation

Cream shortening and brown sugar in a bowl.
Add egg and molasses; beat thoroughly.
Combine flour, baking soda, spices and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and mix until blended.
Shape dough into teaspoonfuls.
Dip tops in granulated sugar.
Arrange balls on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes. Cool cookies on racks.
